Approach

This project was approached as a brand experience exercise, rather than a standard e-commerce layout.

Designing for emotion
Used soft colour palettes, generous spacing, and curated imagery to evoke elegance, lightness, and indulgence.

Product as the hero
Focused on showcasing macarons through large, high-quality visuals to create immediate visual appeal.

Calm, exploratory flow
Structured the layout to feel relaxed and inviting, encouraging users to browse rather than rush.

Simplified ordering interaction
Designed a clear, form-based ordering flow to reduce friction and keep the experience approachable.

Key Design Decisions

  • Minimal layout to create breathing space
  • Soft, pastel-inspired colour palette aligned with the concept brand
  • Clear grouping of product options (boxes, flavours, gifting)
  • Subtle call-to-actions that guide without overwhelming

Development

  • Built in Webflow with a flexible, component-based structure
  • Fully responsive, with a strong focus on mobile experience
  • Structured for easy content updates and scalability
  • Added subtle interactions and Lottie animations to enhance visual engagement without distracting from the content
  • Built automations with Make where every order is updated into the database and the customer receives an order confirmation email along with the details of the order.

Outcome

A polished concept website that demonstrates how a small, product-led brand can be expressed through a cohesive and engaging digital experience.
